About the house

Written by the library. The maker has no about page we could quote; corrections are welcome.

Meo Fusciuni is a niche perfume house based in Sarzana, in the Liguria region of Italy. It was founded by Giuseppe Imprezzabile, a Sicilian-born chemist, botanist and ethnobotanist from Mazara del Vallo who works under the adopted name "Meo Fusciuni", a nod to his father Bartolomeo and to his grandfather, nicknamed "Fusciuni." A trip to Istanbul in 2009 led him to create his first fragrance, and the house was formally established in 2010.

The perfume house's fragrances are organized into thematic cycles, including the "Memorie di Viaggio" (Travel Memories) collection inspired by places such as Istanbul, Morocco and Sicily, as well as "Autoritratti" collections exploring more personal, introspective themes. Federica Castellani, described as Imprezzabile's partner in life and work, oversees the brand's visual and narrative direction.

The house produces Parfum and Eau de Parfum concentrations, along with ambient sprays and travel sizes.
