Opium Den is not subtle—and that’s exactly the point. This is one of those scents people either fall into immediately… or keep coming back to until they do.

It leans deep, warm, and atmospheric—less “perfume,” more place. If someone wants something safe, this isn’t it. If they want something immersive, addictive, and a little dangerous… this is where they land.

The Story

As the light dims, it is said the other senses heighten as a response. Amidst the darkness and smoke of the Victorian opium den, you find yourself flooded by a new awareness of the scents around you. The room now swirls with a miasma of myrrh, patchouli, old wood, coffee, and vanilla. As your limbs become heavy, consider a truth of human experience: we often only encounter the new when we abandon the familiar.

Pairings

If you’re drawn to this, you likely prefer scents that linger and evolve—something with weight to it. It pairs beautifully with Cemetery for a darker, earth-soaked depth, or Crowley to pull the incense forward and sharpen the ritual edge.
