The coffee-shop-and-hotel-lobby wood note everyone can place but not name.
A dry, papery sandalwood and cedar base gets a spicy lift from cardamom and a powdery softness from iris and violet, with a suede-like leather note running underneath. It smells closer to a worn leather jacket than a typical sandalwood, which is part of why it caught on outside strictly 'masculine' or 'feminine' lines.
