EAU DE LILAS

Lilac is, in scent and essence, an enchantress, and for a short spell invites us to inhale its nectar and allow for it to soften even the most calloused surfaces of our beating hearts.

As per annual LVNEA tradition, we’ve feverishly buzzed from blossom to blossom in order to capture the fleeting aroma of the divine Lilac. Through ancient extraction processes and botanical alchemy, an artisanal enfleurage crafted in-house is married to a bouquet of discreet florals and grounded with botanical musk in order to provide tenacity and an enticing, ambrosial effusion.

Notes: a narcotic Lilac soliflore with notes of vegetal tumescence, floral torpor, and earthen musk. A photorealistic white floral that captures the weight of lilac blossoms on hot, humid air.

Enfleurage, from the French "en fleurs", or "in bloom", is the name of an artisanal fat-based extraction process practiced since ancient times to capture the delicate essence of fragrant material. Because of the laborious nature of the process, this technique is generally reserved for small-batch productions and results in some of the most exquisite, photorealistic fragrances, making this labour of love a meditative process we anticipate every coming year.

Choose between 30 mL and 15 mL Eau de Parfum.

Featured ingredients—or, how the magic happens: lilac blossom enfleurage, lilac co2, linden blossom, jasmine absolute, rose absolute, mimosa, ylang ylang, ambrette, benzoin. Contains beeswax and Avocado Seed oil (enfleurage base).

This small-batch artisanal fragrance is composed in part of seasonally-sourced raw materials. Once it's gone, it cannot be reissued until next year's thaw prepares the ground anew. Variations in scent from previous editions are celebrated. Wildcrafted in Tiohtiá:ke/Montréal.
