Dark Forest Attar: Scent of Ancient Deep Northern Forests

I started my company back in 2011. Back when I did, I had compounded tons of Accords and a variety of fragrances that would eventually become tools in my toolbox of things I'd compose in later years. Inspirations and creations that still populate many of my products to this day.

Fragrances like my Sicilian Vanilla, Musk Rose Attar, and Man Musk - were actually some of the first compositions I had made and then shelved, only to be released at a later date. Shelved because Attars were more or less unknown at the time, and I thought nobody would like them, and yet - they are all products which have gone on to be some of my BEST SELLERS, and have gone on to make multiple batches of them since then.

I still have quite a few things I made all those years ago that I haven't gotten around to launching - and now I'm working on changing that.

The first "new" product I'd like to put into your hands is an oil I made back in May of 2012. I was wanting to encapsulate the scent of ancient, primordial Northern Forests.

I utilized various distillations of Firs and Conifers from the Northern United States, Canada, Scandinavia, and Russia - as well as from Taiwan, and a few (contemporary) warmer climates like that of Asia, North Africa, and South America.

To this I added hints of Smoke from old batches of Tars, like Birch and Choya - as well as some Sweet Resins - trying to add hints of "Amber" and Tree Sap. As well as hints of florals to add a little color to the darkness underneath the dense canopy.

This oil now has had more than a decade of aging on it - so it seems fitting to finally allow its maturation to enrich your noses.

This is the ORIGINAL 2012 batch I made, and as such it's limited, although I made a large enough batch that it should last us awhile.

This is an ancient scent - the scent of a world sparsely populated with ancient humans. Of leaf and forest, wood and mulch. Wafts of the distant wood fires of our first ancestors flitting through the thick vegetation.

It's a Primordial Scent that'll transport your consciousness back to a time of Purity and Simplicity. When we had nothing of Modern Worries - yet every day was fight to survive. A scent engrained in our very DNA.
