Lapsang Souchong is the darkest black tea-- a cult favorite, the drying process involves burning conifer branches below the tea leaves, imprinting them with the aromatic woodsmoke. This accord is like a brewed kettle with a touch of honey.

Our Accord Extraits are at a high concentration (30-60%) so that they can be worn sparingly or used to layer lightly into any other scent.

An accord is a singular recognizable essence, even if many different materials go into making it. This allows the perfumer to create essences that cannot be naturally derived otherwise, as well as enhance a specific material to bring out its fullest potential. Accords are not formulated based on complexity or evolution, but instead they focus on specific scent memories.
