The least dignified name in draconic taxonomy belongs to one of its most accomplished ambush hunters. They vanish into marsh grasses, duck ponds, abandoned monastery gardens, and wetland reeds. They cultivate rare medicinal plants and collect willow whistles, abandoned waterfowl nests, and river stones. Contrary to their unfortunate name, they are fastidious creatures, endlessly grooming their matte moss-green scales that are scented with pale lichen, damp soil, fig sap, crushed fern, patchouli root, oakmoss, sweet tabac, and vetiver.
