Black Opium

Yves Saint Laurent · 2014

The coffee-and-vanilla scent people reach for on nights out.

Leads with an unexpected hit of bitter coffee against sweet vanilla, cut with pear and white flowers so it doesn't read as a straight dessert. It settles into a dark, warm vanilla-patchouli drydown that's noticeably heavier and sweeter than the florals that came before it.
