The Scent:

A sweet but airy fragrance of sugared vanilla musk.

Notes of: vanilla musk, sugar crystals, white tonka beans, blonde wood, and soft cream.

The Story:

She laid awake listening, waiting. She heard it again. A scrape and a small whisper of a breath. Carefully she lowered the covers and slowly slide to the edge of the bed. Clenching her fists and pausing only for a moment, she hung her head over the side of the bed. She saw just a glint, perhaps a flash of of something that looked like a fang. Slowly an arm snaked out from the dark. She reached out her tiny pale hand and as the dark thing grew closer and dropped a small pink chunk of sugar candy to the floor. With a swipe of the tentacle and a flash of a tongue the candy was gone. There was a slurp and a tiny grunt. The girl smiled and straighten back in bed and drifted easily into gentle sleep.

There was something there in the dark corner, deep under the bed with depthless eyes peering, waiting and there was one girl who was not afraid to look. This girl and her monster shared a secret. They both loved a little sweet before sleep.
