Oud and Rose - a classical combination, but rarely found offered in a 100% natural, hand-compounded perfume.

I remember many moons ago when I first started offering this Hajj-inspired fragrance, one of the other prominent Oud vendors had gotten his hands on some. He got in touch and asked how I'd managed to nail the scentscape of a place I've never been, for an event I'll likely never be allowed to go on. I didn't have a good answer, other than, "it was an inspired concept".

The simple, yet profound Ingredients:

Gallica Rose Otto

Hindi Kachari Oud

Custom-distilled Mysore Sandalwood Oil

I don't employ just ANY rose or oud, though...

I selected an exceptional (and quite rare) Gallica Rose Otto, which is carefully steam-distilled - rather than solvent extracted - yielding a softer, cooler, more velvety rose-pettily experience.

The Gallica Rose is softer than most roses - and the Otto is like brushing up against soft, ever-so-silky rose petals. It is an exceptional specimen - and a rose distillation rarely seen in the commercial world.

I paired this olfactory gem with a special custom-distilled Kachari Hindi Oud. Rich hay and layers upon layers of Oudy-goodness!

Although a simple composition - the quality of the raw materials and the complexity present in them individually as premium quality natural materials allows for simplicity such as this to exist and work as well as it does. Together, they combine into the classical, yet unique Oud-Rose combo for a decadent joyride that will keep you company all day (and night!) long.

Wears wonderfully on the skin - or if sprayed onto a scarf or into the hair, can gently fragrance your body for several days.
