Maruyama (丸山) is inspired by my visit to a herbs and flowers garden in the serene landscapes at Mount Maruyama in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan during the vibrant summer period. Blending the aromas of the plants and flowers I collected on that day creates a unique and enchanting fragrance experience.

The air is filled with calming and soothing properties, the tranquillity that evokes a sense of serenity, meditation and spiritual elements of all the botanicals within this garden such as Chamomile, Artemisia, Angelica, Lovage, Jatamansi, Rose Otto and more. As you venture deeper into the garden, the aroma shifts. The warm, earthy scent of woods caresses your senses, evoking a sense of grounding and connection to the natural world. It intertwines with the invigorating, herbal and woody embrace of sandalwood. The fragrance journey becomes a symphony of aromatic layers, each one revealing a new facet of olfactory delight.
