SourceThis composition started off as an iteration for our friend Abishek, who commissioned a jasmine-heavy semi-bespoke built around Vietnamese oud.
But instead of his Nha Trang reveree, Fou Guang goes back further to Koh Kong in the 1980s…
In tune with other platinum editions like Angkor and Homeros, Fou Guang highlights a premium agarwood distillation by accentuating the notes inherent in the Oud’s profile itself. So, while exquisite jasmine and lotus abound, super fine vintage Cambodian oud makes up the bulk of the composition.
If you know about the Sultan’s private collection, you know the Cambodis were the most precious, both in availability and for the higher prices
