Corazon de Ariza is a high-concentration perfume (50%+) that unfolds as a lavish rose celebration, saturated with the unmistakable refinement of one of the rarest ouds in the EO Atelier.

This rose feast is centered around several rare rose harvests: decades-aged Ta’ifi rose, Rose de Mai, Kazanlak rose, and Japanese rose, complemented by blue lotus with its narcotic & delectable creami-floral aroma.

Spice notes include pink pepper, cardamom, clove, black pepper, nutmeg, and a subtle infusion of black tea, contributing warmth and a dry, tannic edge. A touch of mandarin adds aromatic lift.

The base is punctuated with Haitian vetiver, Omani frankincense (Boswellia Sacra), and patchouli. But these are more auxiliary notes to play on the ‘earthy’ facet of rose absolute, while the beast at the bottom is called Jayapula.

Jaypula is among the highest-grade artisanal West Papuan ouds ever distilled. There’s a resinous choco-like herbaceous veneer that smells delectable in tango with the lotus’ creamy tone, all while that signature Papuan incense tone wraps the roses in a supreme incense embrace.

Corazon de Ariza is built in the style of traditional Ghalia perfumes, with a focus on dense oud, rare florals, aged musks, and spice. It’s not intended to be experimental or modern, but instead to reflect a classical approach using materials that are either extinct or extremely limited.

Reviews of the non-bespoke edition:

I just tried Corazon de Ariza and oh my I’m blown away.

I still prefer the darkness of Sultan Red Rose but if I had the money and could get my hands on it, this would be a no-brainer.

This one is a bit brighter but it supercedes the already impressive EO Red and EO3, on par with Sultan Rose Attar Parfum.
