Avajaseto

Avajasētō is a semi-bespoke which means “The White Voice” in Nepalese.

I would have to write a few pages about the complexity of the note breakdown and the composition, and still I wouldn’t be able to convey what this project became.

It started out as a rendition based on the OG Crime and Punishment adding Musc Gardenia Ghalia and White Kinam… which sounded incredible to me.

As you can imagine when trying to marry two incredibly complex compositions, some things work and some… not so much. But I’ll spare you the details of what it took to make this matrimony work, and give you a glimpse of the olfactory feast your nose can look forward to:

Imagine the defining blue-lotus tone of C & P, with the sandalwood and jasmine and Garo Hills, North Cachar, Sri Lankan, Cambodian, vintage Malysian and Nagaland agarwood – all wild – the templin and peach, Ylang and pepper, the Tanzanian Osyris, how it’s all morphed by honey and mimosa, orange blossom, Kashmiri musk, and White Kinam.

It’s a floral oud bomb.

And one we won’t make again – we simply don’t have the stamina!

This fragrance takes the OG Crime and Punishment as a base, adds White Kinam and Musc Gardenia Ghalia. Crime and Punishment was already an incredibly opulent composition, the above just adds rocket fuel to the mix and elevates the composition in ways I didn’t think were possible.

Only a handful of these were sold.
